PLANNING BOARD MINUTES MEETING OF JUNE 5, 1995 The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in G-15, Town Office Building, was called to order at 7.42 p.m. by Vice Chairman Canale with members Davies, Grant, Planning Director Bowyer, and Assistant Planner Marino present. Mr. Merrill and Mrs. Davison were absent. **************************************** MINUTES ************************************** 94 Review of Minutes: The Board reviewed the minutes for the meeting of April 24, 1995 On the motion of Mr. Davies, seconded by Mr. Grant, it was voted unanimously, 3-0, to approve the minutes, as written. The Board reviewed the minutes for the meeting of May 8, 1995 On the motion of Mr. Grant, seconded by Mr. Davies, it was voted unanimously, 3-0, to approve the minutes, as written. The Board reviewed and corrected the minutes for the meeting of May 15, 1995. On the motion of Mr. Grant, seconded by Mr. Davies, it was voted unanimously, 3-0, to approve the minutes, as amended. The Board agreed to defer voting on the minutes of May 1, 1995 until their next meeting. ************ ADMINISTRATION OF LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS ************* SUBDIVISION OF LAND 95 Denver Street. Preliminary Plan. Reauest for Extension of Time: The development team for the Denver Street subdivision joined the meeting. Mr. Phelan, the applicant, upon seeing that only three members of the Board were present, requested that the public informational hearing scheduled for that night be postponed until the Planning Board meeting on June 19 Mr Phelan requested that time for the Planning Board to act on the preliminary plan be extended until July 15, 1995. On the motion of Mr. Grant, seconded by Mr. Davies, the Board voted unanimously to grant the extension. *************************** PLANNING DIRECTOR'S REPORT ************************** 96. Recent Activity a. Earl Street. Sketch Preliminary Street Construction Plan. Rollout: Mr. Marino rolled out a preliminary street construction plan for Earl Street, that was submitted by Dan Tocci on May 18, 1995 The staff has not yet reviewed the plan in detail. The time for action on this plan expires on July 2,1995 b. 1995 Town Meeting Articles: Mr. Bowyer reported that the three Planning Board 1995 Town Meeting Articles adopted by Town Meeting were approved by the State Attorney General on May 30, 1995 c. Lauren Victor. Summer Intern: Mr. Bowyer informed the Board that Lauren Victor, a Lexington resident and graduate student in City Planning at the University of Pennsylvania,will be working in the Planning Department this summer. She will be working primarily on the Economic Characteristics of Lexington. That is the next volume in the Socio-Economic Characteristics of Lexington series that started with Volume 1, Population Characteristics.
