PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> MEETING OF MARCH 29, 1995 cm <br /> The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in Room G-15, Town Office Building, was called to <br /> order at 7 10 p.m. by Chairman Davison, with members Canale, Domnitz, Grant, Merrill, Planning Director <br /> Bowyer, and Assistant Planner Marino present. <br /> ************************************** REPORTS *************************************** <br /> 64 Planning Board. Subcommittees <br /> a. South Lexington Transportation Task Force: Mr. Canale reported that he attended a meeting of the <br /> South Lexington Transportation Task Force where a presentation by the 128 Business Council was made <br /> and discussed. <br /> ************ ADMINISTRATION OF LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS ************* <br /> APPLICATIONS TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> 65 Consistency in Planning Board Recommendations: The Board discussed two recent Board of Appeals <br /> petitions and its own approach to making recommendations to the Board of Appeals. The members are <br /> concerned that their recommendations are not always consistent. In response to Mrs. Davison's comment <br /> that she did not understand the difference between a variance and a special permit, Mr. Bowyer agreed to <br /> give the Board some technical background on zoning procedures at a future meeting. Mr Merrill suggested <br /> that the American Planning Association may have some guidelines in relation to applying zoning bylaws to <br /> specific cases. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m. <br /> Frederick L.
