TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />TRUSTEES OF PUBLIC TRUSTS <br />Minutes of Meeting of June 4, 1996 <br />A meeting of the Trustees was held at 8:00 P.M. at the home of David Williams, <br />1433 Massachusetts Avenue. Present were Trustees Alan S. Fields, David G. Williams <br />and Thomas G. Taylor, and Secretary Sheryl Mason. <br />The minutes of the February 5, 1996 meeting were reviewed and approved. <br />It was voted to approve the sales and purchases of securities on March 18, 1996 <br />described in a letter dated March 22, 1996 from Shawmut Bank. <br />The trustees voted to make available for scholarships the following amounts from <br />the following funds: <br />Schumacher $1400 <br />Powers 250 <br />Harrington 2500 <br />Sherburne 500 <br />Weld 500 <br />Baker 400 <br />Lexington Outlook Club 500 <br />Warnecke 7500 <br />It was voted to give $500 from the Gilmore Fund to the Lincoln Park Committee <br />for the Fitness Path. <br />It was voted to accept the Carolyn McCabe Memorial Scolarship Fund, which has <br />a balance of about $13,500. It was also voted to accept the following funds if they are <br />turned over to the Trustees: Mary Sorenson Scholarship Fund, PTA Scholarship Fund and <br />the Class of 1996 Scholarship fund. <br />Jackie Ward requested $100 from the Jonas Gammell Trust which was approved. <br />It was voted to pay Sheryl Mason $1250 for services. <br />Next meeting: Wednesday October 9 at 8:00 P.M. at the home of David <br />Williams. <br />Tom Taylor, Secretary <br />
