Town of Lexington <br />Trustees of Public Trusts <br />Minutes of Meeting <br />A meeting of the Trustees was held at 12:00 noon on March 4, <br />1992 at 265 Franklin Street, Boston, Massachusetts. Present were <br />Trustees Alan S. Fields, Thomas G. Taylor and David G. Williams, <br />and Sheryl Mason. <br />The minutes of the November 1, 1991 meeting were approved. <br />The following portfolio transactions in the Endowment Fund <br />since the last meeting were approved: <br />Purchase -- 200 shares Conagra <br />Purchase -- 100 shares Pfizer Incorporated <br />Purchase -- 100 shares Chubb Corp. <br />Purchase -- 100 shares Caterpillar, Inc. <br />Purchase -- 100 shares AT &T <br />Purchase -- 100 shares IT &T <br />Sold -- 50 shares Coca Cola <br />Sold -- 100 shares HJ Heinz <br />The Chairman reported that the Endowment Fund, as of the end <br />of February, is near 30 percent in equities, 3022rcent being the <br />maximum approved at the November meeting. <br />The Trustees reviewed and approved the report of Steven <br />Baran, Human Services Coordinator for the Human Services Fund. <br />Je <br />The Trustees have received additions to the Lexington,/ TR n J. <br />Education Fund, a new fund established by the Friends of the <br />Lexington Council on Aging, and a fund established by the <br />Lexington Conservation Commission called the Lexington Nature <br />Trust Fund. <br />The Trustees approved a request of $300 from the Lexington <br />Field and Garden Club to be taken from the Hayes Fountain Fund. <br />It was voted to pay the following amounts from the following <br />funds for scholarships to be presented at the high school awards <br />night: <br />2 -$150 scholarships from the Hallie C. Blake Fund <br />$100 from the Charles E; French Fund <br />3-$500 scholarships from the Harrington Memorial Fund <br />$750 from the Richard Isenberg Fund <br />4 -$350 scholarships from the F. Foster and Tenney <br />Sherburne Fund <br />
