PLANNING BOARD MINUTES MEETING OF MARCH 2, 2016 A meeting of the Lexington Planning Board, held in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room was called to order 6:07 p.m. by Chair Nancy Corcoran-Ronchetti, with members Charles Hornig, Tim Dunn, Richard Canale, and Ginna Johnson and planning staff Aaron Henry and Lori Kaufman present. ********************** STAFF REPORTS ********************** CSAHC: ENTER TREETSCAPE DESIGN REVIEW D OC OMMITTEE The Planning Board put forward to the Board of Selectmen (BOS) Ms. Corcoran-Ronchetti’s name to be considered as a representative for the Center Streetscape Committee. ***** UPCOMING MEETINGS & ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE ***** The Board of Selectmen requested the Planning Board come before them on March 7 and 14 to discuss the articles being brought forward to Town Meeting. Mr. Canale and Mr. Dunn cannot attend the 3/4/16 meeting for the League of Woman’s Voters. The TMMA information session will have a short annual meeting on March 10, 2016 and then 2.5 hours for the Planning Board to present its articles. ***** 2016 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING – OTHER ARTICLES ***** PA16,GNETZERO: RESENTATION ON RTICLE ETTING TO A presentation was made and the PowerPoint can be found in the meeting packet for this date by the Lexington Sustainable Committee. The goal is to put Lexington at net zero emissions in 20-25 years. This article is being brought to Town Meeting for a total price tag of $100,000. They hope the Planning Board will support this Article. They are looking for someone from the Planning Board to participate. There are links to see the plan for Cambridge and their road map towards this goal, which is the model being used for this plan. DWAIB: ISCUSSION ON OTHER ARRANT RTICLES OF NTEREST TO THE OARD Mr. Henry suggested articles 8, 16, 17, 29, 32, and 33 may be of interest to the Planning Board. Board Members wanted to include articles 10a, 10g, 10i, 10p, 14, 21, and 35.
