Town of Lexington Tourism Committee Dawn McKenna, Chair (781) 862 -0500 ext 84585 Minutes Thursday, April 25, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. — 5:00 p.m. Dawes Room Minutes of the meeting of April 25, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. Town Office Building Members Present: Marsha Baker, Kerry Brandin, Margaret Coppe, Trisha Kennealy, Dawn McKenna Staff Present: Megan Zammuto Absent: Bebe Fallick, Wim Nijenberg, Leeying Wu, Guests Present: Jon Himmel, Fred Johnson, Richard Pagett 1) Report to Town Meeting The committee discussed the Tourism Committee report to Town Meeting. Tourism Committee Chair, Dawn McKenna, outlined the draft report. Committee members discussed the draft and made suggestions and edits. Dawn McKenna facilitated the discussion and incorporated the edits into the report. Upon motion duly made and seconded (Trisha Kennealy /Kerry Brandin) it was unanimously voted to approve the report to Town Meeting as edited. 2) Tourism Committee's Representative to Selectmen's Center Streetscape Committee The committee discussed the Board of Selectmen's request to submit an additional committee member to be considered for the Selectmen's Center Streetscape Committee, in addition to Jon Himmel, whose name was submitted per the vote at the last meeting. Upon motion duly made and seconded (Kerry Brandin /Margaret Coppe) it was unanimously to submit Dawn McKenna as the second nomination to serve on the Selectmen's Center Streetscape Committee. 3) Minutes The committee reviewed minutes from the Tourism Committee on November 19, 2015. Upon motion duly made and seconded (Trisha Kennealy /Margaret Coppe) it was unanimously voted to approve the minutes of the November 19, 2015 Tourism Committee meeting.
