Whereas:, r.Perlmutter and his A fe,Bobbi,are longtime residents of Lexington, moving here in August of 1969 and raising tier three daughters here; and Whereas: Dr.Perlmutter served on the Board.of Health as part ofhis heartfelt civic duty and a with purpose to improve the health of the people of Lexington and Whereas- Dr.Perlmutter felt that;public Health is more than restaurant inspections and strived to educate and informs.residents and Town Officials alike,�such areas as: disease control preparedness planning, and environmental issues, and. Whereas: Dr..Perlmutter'Perlmutter's work in preparedness planning during the COVII -19,panders .e, alongside the Fire Chief,is particularly memorable and a major factor that he attributes to the Board.of Health having the recognition it deserves,culminating in the creation of the Lexington Health Department.
