<br />Minutes of the <br />Lexington Capital Expenditures Committee (CEC) Meeting <br />March 18, 2016 <br />Location and Time: <br /> Town Office Building, Parker Room (G-15); 8:00 .. <br />AM <br />Members Present: <br /> Jill Hai, Chair; David Kanter, Vice-Chair & Clerk; Rod Cole; <br />Wendy Manz <br />Member Absent: <br /> Elizabeth Barnett <br />Others Present: <br /> None <br />Documents Presented: <br /> Notice/Agenda of CEC Public Meeting, March 18, 2016 <br /> Pending Final #2 CEC Report to 2016 Annual Town Meeting (ATM) <br /> Pending Final CEC Five-Year Capital Plan (FY2017–FY2021) <br />Call to Order: <br /> Ms. Hai called the meeting to order at 8:00 .. <br />AM <br />Reporting to the 2016 ATM <br />Article 10(a), Center Streetscape Improvements and Easements—Phase 1 of 3: As the <br />Committee now understood that the Board of Selectmen no longer plans to offer a separate <br />question on the traffic signalization of the Woburn Street/Massachusetts Avenue <br />intersection, a Motion was made and seconded to eliminate from the report its discussion <br />and position taken on that matter; leaving just the previous, unanimous, disapproval of the <br />project.Vote: 4–0. <br />The Committee then reviewed the Pending Final #2 CEC Report to 2016 Annual Town <br />Meeting (ATM) including the Pending Final CEC Five-Year Capital Plan (FY2017–FY2021) <br />that is incorporated into that report. With just the above-described change to Article 10(a) to <br />be made to the report, the Committee confirmed it didn’t alter the previous unanimous <br />approval of the report with the Chair and Vice-Chair still authorized to make <br />non-substantive changes. <br />Adjourn: <br />A Motion was made and seconded at 9:09 .. to adjourn.Vote: 4–0 <br />AM <br />These Minutes were approved by the CEC at its meeting on March 30, 2016. <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
