<br />LEXINGTON DESIGN ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />Minutes of Meeting of August 52015 <br />, <br />A meeting of the Design Advisory Committee was held on August 5, 2015 at 7:30 pm in the Reed room of <br />the Town Office building. A quorum of seven was present. <br />Members Present: , <br />Bruce Creager, John Frey, Bahig Kaldas, Alenka Slezak Richard Friedson, Caroline <br />Fitzgerald, Tim Lee (Chair) <br />Members Absent: <br /> Brigitte Steines, Steve Vincent <br />Approvals <br />: <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and approved. <br />The meeting reviewed and acted on the following item: <br />The DAC reviewed the proposed project at our meeting on August 5, 2015 and had the following <br />comments and recommendations. <br />The applicant presented the proposed sign for the Pilgrim Congregational Church to be located in <br />approximately the same location as the existing sign along Coolidge Avenue. <br />The sign will be similar in scale to that of the existing sign and will be constructed of high density urethane <br />mounted with black aluminum brackets to PVC composite posts. The size, design, font and colors will be <br />as per presented drawing. The existing landscape up-lighting will be relocated and reused. New <br />landscaping will also be installed as part of the project. <br />After review the Design Advisory Committee determined that the project scope as presented is acceptable <br />and recommends approval.
