<br />LEXINGTON DESIGN ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />Minutes of Meeting of <br />May 6, 2015 <br />A meeting of the Design Advisory Committee was held on May 6, 2015 at 7:30 pm in the Reed room of the <br />Town Office building. A quorum of six was present. <br />Members Present: , <br />Tim Lee (Chair), Bruce Creager, John Frey, Bahig Kaldas, Alenka SlezakBrigitte <br />Steines, Richard Friedson, Steve Vincent, Caroline Fitzgerald <br />Members Absent: <br />Approvals <br />: <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were approved with minor corrections <br />The meeting reviewed and acted on the following item: <br />1.177 Bedford Street – Wireless facility application <br />Applicant presented their proposal to add antennas to an existing tower/pole at the above address. <br /> a. Proposed facility will comply with noise ordinance. <br /> b. No additional lighting will be added. <br /> c. No maintenance will be conducted after hours unless it is an emergency. <br /> d. Proposed antennas will be the same colors as others. <br />Committee recommended approval of this application. <br />1.Cary Hall – Exterior site signage improvements review <br />Applicant presented the current design alternatives for added signage <br /> a. Generally committee liked the idea of signage to identify the buildings at the street and an <br /> informational board along sidewalk opposite Cary Hall. Something lighter in style was <br /> preferred. <br /> b. Some members did not object to signage on the building itself <br /> c. It was suggested to copy the blade sign at Depot Square Park for the informational sign <br /> d. Some members felt that no signage for building identification was necessary near the <br /> buildings, looked too cluttered. <br /> e.
