<br />LEXINGTON DESIGN ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />Minutes of Meeting of September 10, 2014 <br />A meeting of the Design Advisory Committee was held on September 10, 2014 at 7:30 pm in the Reed <br />room of the Town Office building. A quorum of six was present. <br />Members Present: , <br />Tim Lee (Chair), Bruce Creager, John Frey, Bahig Kaldas, Alenka SlezakBrigitte <br />Steines <br />Members Absent: <br /> Richard Friedson,, Steve Vincent <br />Approvals <br />: <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were approved with minor corrections <br />The meeting reviewed and acted on the following item: <br />1.401 Lowell Street, Lexington, MA – New sign application <br />The committee agreed that the sign as designed is an appropriate scale for the proposed location on this <br />building. Any smaller and the sign would not be legible from Lowell Street for visitors to the business. The <br />committee agreed that the sign should not be internally or externally lit in anyway now or in the future. <br />The following documents/exhibits were presented and reviewed at the meeting: <br />1. Zoning Board of Appeals Application package <br />2.Sign design plan for Amadeus Music School by Callahan Signs, Revision date 8.6.14 <br />The Design Advisory Committee enthusiastically recommended approval of this application.
