3. Signage on the present tennis practice boards does work and most, but not all, players abide by it. So placing <br />that signage on the practice boards themselves, such as tennis only and the hours of play, has made dramatic <br />difference in player compliance. <br />4. As with the formation of the Pickleball working group, we ask, as the abutters who are directly impacted by <br />the practice boards, that we be included in the discussion of the orientation of the cement -based boards, as <br />that too will affect the noise levels at the abutter property line. Thoughtful orientation of the practice boards <br />should not compromise their use, while taking into consideration sound mitigation for the abutters. (For <br />example, transmission and reflective noise properties of the practice boards are often different, as shown in the <br />attached document.) <br />We thank the RC and RD for their service to our community. <br />
