TOWN WARRANT <br /> Town of Lexington <br /> Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middlesex, ss. <br /> To any of the Constables of the Town of Lexington Greetings: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,you are to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington <br /> qualified to vote in elections and in Town affairs to meet in their respective voting places in said Town. <br /> PRECINCT ONE, CARY MEMORIAL BUILDING; PRECINCT TWO, BOWMAN SCHOOL, PRECINCT <br /> THREE, JONAS CLARKE MIDDLE SCHOOL,PRECINCT FOUR, BRIDGE SCHOOL, PRECINCT FIVE, <br /> CARY MEMORIAL BUILDING; PRECINCT SIX, WILLIAM DIAMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL, PRECINCT <br /> SEVEN, ESTABROOK SCHOOL, PRECINCT EIGHT, FIRE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING; PRECINCT <br /> NINE,MARIA HASTINGS SCHOOL, <br /> TUESDAY, the FIFTH DAY of JUNE,A.D., 2007 <br /> From 7.00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., then and there to act on the following questions submitted to the voters at large: <br /> QUESTION 1 Shall the Town of Lexington be allowed to assess an additional$3,981,589 in real estate <br /> and personal property taxes for the purpose of funding the operating budget of the public schools, for the <br /> fiscal year beginning July first, two thousand and seven? <br /> Yes — <br /> No <br /> QUESTION 2. Shall the Town of Lexington be allowed to exempt from the provisions of Proposition <br /> two and one-half, so called, the amount required to pay for the bond issued in order to design, engineer, <br /> construct and equip a new Department of Public Works (DPW) operations facility at 201 Bedford Street? <br /> Yes — <br /> No <br /> And you are directed to serve this warrant seven days at least before the time of said meeting. <br /> Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before <br /> the time of said meeting. <br /> Given under our hands this 30th day of April 2007 <br /> Jeanne K.
