TOWN WARRANT <br /> OW ; .; E, <br /> Town of Lexington <br /> Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middlesex, ss. <br /> To any of the constables of the Town of Lexington in said County, <br /> Greeting: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are directed to notify <br /> the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington, qualified to vote in elections and in Town <br /> affairs, to meet in their respective voting places in said Town, <br /> PRECINCT ONE, HARRINGTON SCHOOL, PRECINCT TWO, BOWMAN <br /> SCHOOL, PRECINCT THREE, JONAS CLARKE MIDDLE SCHOOL, PRECINCT <br /> FOUR, SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, PRECINCT FIVE, CARY MEMORIAL <br /> BUILDING; PRECINCT SIX, WILLIAM DIAMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL, <br /> PRECINCT SEVEN, ESTABROOK SCHOOL, PRECINCT EIGHT, FIRE <br /> HEADQUARTERS BUILDING, PRECINCT NINE, MARIA HASTINGS SCHOOL. <br /> MONDAY, THE ELEVENTH DAY OF JUNE, A.D., 1990 <br /> from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., then and there to vote Yes or No on the following question <br /> submitted to the voters at large: <br /> Shall the Town of Lexington be allowed to assess an additional $1,097,829 in real <br /> estate and personal property taxes for the purposes of meeting the educational expenses <br /> of the Lexington Public Schools, the operating expenses of the Fire Department relating <br /> to the East Lexington Fire Station, the operating expenses of the Police Department <br /> relating to Lexington Center coverage and other police personnel issues, the operating <br /> expenses of the Library relating to maintaining hours of operation, the operating <br /> expenses of the Recreation Department to maintain existing services and provide weed <br /> control at the Old Res, the town's share of the operating expenses of Lexpress, and the <br /> provision of services to youth including Replace for the fiscal year beginning July first, <br /> nineteen hundred and ninety? <br /> YES_ <br /> NO <br /> The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m. <br /> And you are directed to serve this warrant seven days at least before the time of <br /> said meetings as provided in the By-Laws of the Town. <br />
