TOWN WARRANT COMMONWEALTH' OF MASSACHUSETTS MIDDLESEX, ss. To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington, ins aid County, Greeting: In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington, qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet in their respective voting places in said town, (PRECINCT ONE, EMERSON HALL: PRECINCT TWO, THREE AND POUR, CARY MEMORIAL HALL), ON TUESDAY, THE THIRTEENTH DAY OP JUNE, A. D. , at two o ' clock P. M. , for the following purposes: To bring in their votes to the Election Officers for the Election of Delegates to a Constitutional Convention called to Ratify or Reflect the Following Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, proposed by Joint Resolution of Congress Text of the Proposed Amendment : "Section 1. The eighteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed. "Section 2. The transportation or importation into any State, Territory, or possession of the United States for delivery or use therein of intoxicating liquors, in violation of the laws thereof, is hereby prohibited. "Section 3. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by conventions in the several States, as provided in the Constitu- tion, within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the States by the Congress." And to vote on the following question: " Shall licenses to granted in this town for the sale therein of wines and malt beverages? " The polls will be open from two o 'clock P. M. until eight o' clock P. M.
