S. to <br /> cast their ballots for the following officers ; Presidential Electors ; <br /> Governor; Lieutenant Governor, Secretary; Treasurer ; Auditor; Attor- <br /> ney-General , Senator in Congress ; Congressman; Councillor, Senator; <br /> County Commissioners , <br /> Representative in General Court ,/Register of Probate and Insolvency; <br /> and County Treasurer . <br /> And to bring in their votes on the following questions : <br /> Acceptance of the following"Proposed amendments to the <br /> Constitution." <br /> Article of amendment . <br /> t Article III ofthe Amendments to the Constitution, as amended, ie <br /> hereby further amended by striking out , in the first line , the word <br /> "male" . <br /> article of Amendment. <br /> t Section 1 . No person shall be deemed to be ineligible to hold <br /> state , county or municipal office by reason of sex. <br /> Section 2. Article IV of the articles of amendment of the con- <br /> stitution of the commonwealth, as amended by Article LVII of said <br /> amendments, is hereby further amended by striking out the words <br /> "Change of name shall render the commission void, but shall not <br /> prevent reappointment under the new name ," and inserting in place <br /> thereof the following words :- Upon the change of name of any woman, <br /> she shall re-register under her new name and shall pay such fee there- <br /> for as shall be established by the general court. <br /> .ef .
