Greeting: In the name of the Commonwealth you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of said town who are qualified to vote iia Elections to meet in EMERSON HALL, STONE BUILDING, EAST LEXINGTON, (Precinct I) and in TOWN HALL, LEXINGTON CENTRE, (Precinct II) , on Tuesday, The Fourth Day of November , 1924 , at six o' clock A . S. to cast their ballots for the following officers ; Presidential Electors ; Governor; Lieutenant Governor, Secretary; Treasurer ; Auditor; Attor- ney-General , Senator in Congress ; Congressman; Councillor, Senator; County Commissioners , Representative in General Court ,/Register of Probate and Insolvency; and County Treasurer . And to bring in their votes on the following questions : Acceptance of the following"Proposed amendments to the Constitution." Article of amendment . t Article III ofthe Amendments to the Constitution, as amended, ie hereby further amended by striking out , in the first line , the word "male" . article of Amendment. t Section 1 . No person shall be deemed to be ineligible to hold state , county or municipal office by reason of sex. Section 2. Article IV of the articles of amendment of the con- stitution of the commonwealth, as amended by Article LVII of said amendments, is hereby further amended by striking out the words "Change of name shall render the commission void, but shall not prevent reappointment under the new name ," and inserting in place thereof the following words :- Upon the change of name of any woman, she shall re-register under her new name and shall pay such fee there- for as shall be established by the general court. .ef . Acceptance of Chap . 473 , Acts -of 1923 , entitled, "An Act relating to deposits with others than banks" .
