TOWN WARRANT . <br /> COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS. MIDDLESEX, SS. <br /> To either of the Constables of the town of Lexington, in said <br /> County, Greeting: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,, you are <br /> directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington, <br /> qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs , to meet in <br /> the Town Hall, in said Lexington, <br /> ON THURSDAY, THE FOURTH DAY OF AUGUST , A. D. 1921, <br /> at eight o'clock, .P . M. , then and there to act on the following <br /> articles : <br /> Art . 1. To receive the report of any Board of Town Officers or <br /> of any Committee of the Town for action thereon, and to appoint <br /> other Committees . <br /> Art. 2 . To see if the Town will authorize the Board of Selectmen <br /> to compromise and settle a judgment for $4140.00 obtained against <br /> the Town by Mary Chisholm for the death of Daniel Chisholm, her <br /> husband, while employed in repairing the fire alarm system of the <br /> Town August 8, 1918 , for a sum not to exceed $3530.00 and make <br /> an appropriation therefore , and authorize the Treasurer to borrow <br /> said sum or act in any manner relating thereto. <br /> Art. 3 . To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of $1898 .09 <br /> to pay the amount due August 8 , 1921 and $10.00 a week thereafter <br /> to and including Dec. 31, 1921 , to Mary Chisholm on account of a <br /> judgment obtained by her against the Town for the death of her <br /> husband, Daniel Chisholm, while employed in repairing the fire <br /> alarm system of the Town. August 8, 1918 and authorize the Treasurer <br /> to borrow said sum or act in any manner relating thereto. <br /> Art . 4. • To hear and act on the report of the special committee <br /> appointed December 17, 1920, "to investigate and revise the <br /> building lave of the Town" , or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />
