<br /> <br />Meeting Minutes for December 1, 2022 <br />Attendees: Cindy Arens (Sustainable Lexington liaison), Harriet Cohen (Clerk), Jeri Foutter (Chair), <br />Charles Hornig (Planning Board), Paul Linton, Wendy Manz, Sarah Morrison (LexHAB liaison), Bob <br />Pressman, Maureen Rynn (LHA liaison), Melanie Thompson, Betsey Weiss, John Zhao (COA) <br />Absent: Joe Pato (Select Board liaison) <br />Guests: Ingrid Klimoff <br />The Housing Partnership Board (HPB) meeting was chaired by Jeri Foutter and minutes were taken by <br />Harriet Cohen. <br />1. Call to Order: Housing Partnership Board Meeting <br />Ms. Foutter called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. The roll was called. <br />2. Article #12: Creation of an Affordable Housing Trust <br />Ms. Foutter reported that the article was passed at Town Meeting with 175 voting in favor, 2 <br />against, and 2 abstentions. <br />3. Article #14: LexHAB Reorganization- presentation, discussion, and vote <br />Ms. Foutter reported that the article was passed at Town Meeting with 164 voting in favor, 5 <br />voting against, and 8 abstentions at TM. <br />4. MBTA Communities – Charles Hornig and Melanie Thompson <br />Mr. Hornig reported that the Planning Board is working hard on the MBTA communities <br />proposed zoning. Further discussions will occur at the Planning Board meetings on Dec. 7, with a <br />goal of finalizing the zoning on Dec. 14. Community outreach is planned for January with a goal <br />of presenting an article at the February 2023 Town Meeting. <br />5. Affordable Housing Resources <br />There was no update from the Affordable Housing Resources working group. <br />6. HPB Charge & Membership <br />Ms. Cohen presented the latest draft of the Charge. After a discussion and minor updates to the <br />Charge, the HPB voted to approve the charge. <br />In favor: Ms. Cohen, Ms. Foutter, Mr. Hornig, Mr. Litton, Ms. Manz, Mr. Pressman, Ms. <br />Thompson, Ms. Weiss, Mr. Zhao <br />Against: none <br />Abstaining: none <br />7. Land Acquisition <br />There was no update from the Land Acquisition working group. <br />8. Working Group to write HPB accomplishments, 2003-present <br />There was no update from this working group. <br />9. Board Member Updates <br />Planning Board: The Planning Board has focused on the MBTA Communities Act zoning.
