Non-Voting Members : Provision for the appointment by the Select Board, at the request of the GCC Chair, for up to 3 Non-Voting Members, for a term not to exceed 3 years for former members of the committee, including those who may no longer reside in Lexington, and others, to provide skills and institutional memory to the committee in pursuit of its mission. Staff Support as appropriate from the following Departments: Conservation, Recreation, Department of Public Works, Planning, GIS Mapping, Transportation Safety Group Ex-Officio Liaisons (non-voting): Select Board, Conservation Commission, Planning Board, Recreation Committee, Bicycle Advisory Committee Member Requirements: As a member of this Committee, appointees are required to: 1.Acknowledge receipt of the Summary of the Conflict of Interest Statute. Further, to continue to serve on the Committee the member must acknowledge annually receipt of the Summary of the Conflict of Interest Statute. Said summary will be provided by and acknowledged to the Town Clerk. 2.Provide evidence to the Town Clerk that the appointee has completed the on-line training requirement required by the Conflict of Interest statute. Further, to continue to serve on the Committee, the member must acknowledge every two years completion of the on-line training requirement. October 17, 2011 - Selectmen voted to change membership from 7-9 to 9 members. November 28, 2022 - Select Board voted to: change "Board of Selectmen" to "Select Board"; change the number of members from "7-9" to "9"; update meeting times; update Description, Deliverables and Criteria for Membership; add Non-Voting Members; add and specify Staff Support and Ex-Officio Liaisons.
