LEXINGTON HISTORICAL COMMISSION MINUTES SEPT 21, 1989 <br /> Present: M. Gilman, B. Witthoft, V. Nicholson <br /> 1. Mrs. Nicholson was unanimously recommended for appointment to the <br /> commission and B. Witthoft will write to Town Manager to that <br /> effect. <br /> 2. Gilman authorized demolition of the Mobil Station, SW corner of <br /> Waltham and Marrett Sts, and demolition has taken place. <br /> 3. Gilman brought 3 letters received re the commission's possible <br /> interest, none of which required action. <br /> 4. Brookhaven--historic signs. Gilman traced the designers of the <br /> presetn town signs [Richard Fleming, Townscape Inc. , Cambridge] and <br /> has discussed the matter with Fleming's assistant. Out copy was <br /> sent to Brookhaven VP Heidner. Townscape is to contact Brookhaven. <br /> 5.
