THE LEXINGTON HISTORICAL COMMISSION <br /> Lexington, Massachusetts 02173 <br /> Minutes <br /> December 13, 1979 <br /> The Lexington Historical Commission held its regular monthly <br /> meeting in Room 111 of the Town Office Building at 7 : 30 P.M. <br /> Members present were Anne Grady, Sara Chase, and Norma Bogen. <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were read from notes and <br /> approved as read. <br /> Membership renewals in the Bay State Historic League and in <br /> the National Trust were approved. <br /> Anne Grady reported that, while there was no new information <br /> regarding the Boston University preservation planning course, she <br /> has sent to Mary Miley and the Selectmen a letter which presents <br /> examples of preservation planning in other towns in Massachusetts, <br /> explains the process involved in setting up such plans, the need <br /> for profess ' onal rather than volunteer services, and addresses <br /> Selectmen B sa' s question about the legal force of such a document. <br /> Meetin dates were set for the first half of 1980, as follows : <br /> January 17 , February 14, March 13, April 17 , May 15 , and June 12. <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> ! o. <br /> az-Lt,..,, 9... .
