COMMUNITY Anne Grady reported LHC eligible for funds. Has re- DEVELOPMENT ceived inquiries from individual house owners. REHABILITATION Norma Bogen circulated Sudbury newspaper article on GRANTS same, pointed out application must originate with owner. Individual's income pertinent. Typical recent year appropriations per town: $150,000. Other needs and proposals, however, are equally eli- gible and the end dollars would likely be diluted by the time funds reached this committee for recommended dispersal. LHC should arrange discussion meeting with pertinent town agencies. Selectmen, Accessor, LHDC, etc. Suggest November 28, 29, or 30. Norma Bogen suggested walking tour following. EAST LEXINGTON Richard Morehouse reported on plans for expanding ex- RAILROAD STATION isting abutting Toyota agency. No apparent effect on Station. (Owner Dick Beaman later reported there are no immediate plans to raze structure.) ARCHITECTURAL Sara Chase reported on her attendance at Architectural PRESERVATION Preservation Techniques Society meeting. Attended TECHNIQUES lectures, etc. : Paint analysis SOCIETY Transfer of historic wall paintings CLEVELAND Visit to Oberlin College analysis lab MEETING Charles Peterson wrought iron craft Sara may be able to help with historic paint, mortar problems, e.g. Hancock School development.
