LEXINGTON HISTORICAL COMMISSION <br /> MEETING <br /> Room G5 October 20, 1975 <br /> Lexington Town Office Building 7:.30 P.M. <br /> Voting Members present: Donna Brown, Ann Grady, Richard Morehouse, <br /> Elizabeth Reinhardt, Thomas Taylor. <br /> Public Participants: Mr. Lincoln Cole visited <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7 :35 P.M. Mrs. Reinhardt provided <br /> the agenda. <br /> All bills of the Commission will be submitted first to Donna Brown. <br /> UBMIT BILLS A Purchase order will be made up for each. expenditure (except in <br /> the case of several small amounts by one person for reimbursement) <br /> We have been advised that the Commission should provide the Town <br /> Manager with a list of our projected expenses for the remainder of <br /> ROJECTED EXPENSES this year. Weshould also make our proposal for a budget for next <br /> FISCAL 75-76 year. It was voted that we include the following in a request for <br /> funds for this year. <br /> 1. Film purchase $200.00 <br /> 2. Processing (including copies for National <br /> ROPOSED EXPENSES Register Applications) $200.00 <br /> REMAINDER OF YEAR 3. Secretarial Help $125.00 <br /> 4. U.S.G.S. Maps .. $ 15.00 <br /> Total $540.00 <br /> A vote was taken to approve the bills to date for the following: <br /> 1. National Historic Trust Workshop fee $ 35.00 <br /> Ann Grady attended <br /> ILLS SUBMITTED 2. National Trust for Historic Preservation $ 25.00 <br /> Membership (Organization) <br /> 3. Film Purchased 8/29/75 and Processing <br /> 10/16/75 Betty Reinhardt $ 10.68 <br /> 4. Xerox copies <br /> Richard Morehouse $ .83 <br /> $ 71.51 <br /> Unaanimous <br /> Graduate students will be used to do Title searches when necessary, <br /> RADUATE STUDENTS as in the case of the Sanderson House. <br /> A discussion was held concerning the po.ssibilit iof this Comm- <br /> ission doing a publication of perhaps five chapters on the <br /> UBLICATION development of the town of Lexington. Ideas for material to <br /> be included were, photographs, maps of the various periods of <br /> development, a brief description of the Town, a glossary of arch- <br /> itectural features. The publication to begin with the first settle- <br /> ment of the Town to the present. <br /> The Commission report (Annual) must be submitted by November 15th <br /> NNUAL REPORT to be included in the Town Report. The Chairman will write the " <br /> report and send it around for comments by the members. <br /> LF.tter from Temple Scanlon concerning funds was discussed. It was <br /> SSIBTR FUNDING decided to ask him to find out more about the funds mentioned. We <br /> will wait to hear from him again. <br />
