HISTORICAL COMMISSION MEETING <br /> Room G5 June 30,1975 <br /> Lexington Town Office Building 7:00 P.M. • <br /> Voting members present: Donna Brown, Anne Grady, Richard Morehouse <br /> Elizabeth Reinhardt, Thomas Taylor. <br />• Public participants: None <br /> The meeting was brought to order with the introductions of the <br /> members. It was decided the committee could function at this time <br /> with a chairman and secretary. Elizabeth Reinhardt was elected ELECTIONS <br /> Chairman_. Taylor, Grady - Unanimous. Donna Brown was elected <br /> Secretary. Grady, Morehouse - Unanimous. The terms being one year. <br /> A general discussion of the duties and aims of the committee was <br /> held. It was felt that some funds will be needed to cover the <br /> costs of film and processing , stationary and postage, and minor FUNDS <br /> miscellaneous expenses. Thomas Taylor will meet with the Town <br /> Manager, Mr. O'Connell for the purpose of finding out what money <br /> may be available. <br /> • <br /> The first goal of the committee will be to complete an inventory of <br /> the properties in Lexington. First priority will be these in the <br /> Historic Districts. Work has already begun on this project by Eliz- <br /> abeth Reinhardt and Anne Grady with the help of volunteers. It was <br /> suggested that the names of the volunteers be included in the minutes <br /> of our next meeting. Procedures were discussed and it was decided to INVENTORY <br /> educate the public by an article in the Lexington Minute Man and we <br /> will also inform the Police Department as to our activities to alev- <br /> iate any distress from the homeowners. It was felt some form of <br /> identification would also be helpful. <br /> . It was agreed that our next meeting date be Monday, August 18, 1975 <br /> at 7:30 P.M. .
