Do you have any idea when the new review process will be in place? I believe we talked about this in May. I guess I'm still wondering about the plot plan. Did Chris visit the site in March before he granted the tree permit? If so, how did he reconcile the plot plan with the reality on the ground? Jim, these questions I think are more appropriately for you: Can action be taken against the developer for fraud (especially considering his past history)? Can action be taken against the registered surveyor as mentioned in my previous email? Has Town Counsel opined on these questions? For now that is all we can do on this property unƟl they pull a permit. The one year period is from our site visit which was yesterday. We are working on the review process and we should be able to capture these discrepancies in a more Ɵmely manner. In speaking with Town Counsel we cannot go back on an approved and closed out site. Chris has spoken to the Building Commissioner about that parƟcular builder and we will be monitoring his acƟviƟes more closely. My suggesƟon on the loophole would be to get a change to the bylaw going from one year to three years for the removals to be accounted for. This would hopefully prevent them from skirƟng the bylaw.
