<br /> <br />Minutes of the Lexington Planning Board <br />Held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 <br />Virtual Meeting at 7:00 pm <br />Present: Robert Peters, Chair; Michael Schanbacher, Vice-Chair; Melanie Thompson, Clerk, <br />Robert Creech, and Charles Hornig. Also present was Abby McCabe, Planning Director. <br />Robert Peters, Chair, called to order the meeting of the Lexington Planning Board on Tuesday, <br />September 13, 2022, at 7:00 pm. For this meeting, all members are participating remotely via <br />Zoom. LexMedia is filming this meeting and will record it for future viewing. Detailed <br />information for remote participation by the public may be found on the Planning Office web page. <br />Mr. Peters conducted a roll call to ensure all members of the Planning Board and members of staff <br />present could hear and be heard. <br />Mr. Peters provided a summary of instructions for members of the public in attendance. It was <br />further noted that materials for this meeting are available on the Town's Novus AGENDA <br />dashboard and this meeting was scheduled for one agenda item which was a public hearing on the <br />Definitive Subdivision application at 39 & 43 Blossomcrest Road for the Hosmer House <br />Relocation proposal. <br />Mr. Peters noted that the Board of Appeals members were also present for their hearing on the <br />special permit application for the Hosmer House relocation proposal. <br />Mr. Clifford called to order the Board of Appeals meeting on a roll call vote of board members <br />and zoning staff. <br />Ms. McCabe reported that the Applicant is still working on plan revisions requested by staff for <br />both the Board of Appeals and Planning Board and staff recommends continuing the Planning <br />Board public hearing to Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 6:00 pm on Zoom and continuing the <br />Board of Appeals public hearing to Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 7:00 pm on Zoom to allow more <br />time for plan updates. <br />In response to a question about the process between the boards, Ms. McCabe responded that the <br />Board of Appeals hearing is expected to be the week prior to the Planning Board public hearing. <br />Staff will report the Board of Appeals results to the Planning Board. <br />On a motion made by Mr. Schanbacher, seconded by Ms. Thompson, the Planning Board voted 5- <br />0 to continue the definitive subdivision public hearing for 39 & 43 Blossomcrest Road to <br />Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 6:00 pm on Zoom. (Board vote: Hornig – yes, Peters – yes, <br />Schanbacher – yes, Thompson – yes, Creech - yes). <br />On a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Appeals voted 5-0 to continue the special <br />permit public hearing for 39 43 Blossomcrest Road to Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 7:00 pm on <br />Zoom. <br />On a motion made by Mr. Schanbacher, seconded by Ms. Thompson, the Planning Board voted 5- <br />0 to adjourn the meeting at 7:08 pm. (Board vote: Hornig – yes, Peters – yes, Schanbacher – yes, <br />Thompson – yes, Creech - yes). <br />
