Lexington Human Rights Committee <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> April 9, 2010 <br /> Present: Albert Zabin, Gerald McLeod, Joseph O'Leary, Bob Kent, Linda Vine, Fuang- <br /> Ying Huang, Emily Lavine, Puran Dang, Richard Capron and guest Art Katz. <br /> Police Dept. reported that some of the anarchist groups in Boston, the pro Palestinian <br /> groups, anti-gay groups and others may be coming to Lexington on Patriots' Day. And, <br /> Sarah Palin will join the Tea Party protest at Boston Common on April 14th <br /> The committee discussed if changes can be made peacefully and without violent. Does <br /> the Reenactment invite/provoke groups such as Westborough Baptist Church to come to <br /> Lexington? Some committee members feel that the reenactment and Patriots' Day parade <br /> are Lexington traditions, and there will be protest with or without it. <br /> Action items: <br /> • Responsible parties for event tasks to meet before next meeting to discuss and <br /> coordinate task(s) assigned <br /> • Linda will send group e-mail with phone numbers <br /> • Bob will write to Senator Kerry to see if he is interested in participate in the event <br /> Next meeting is scheduled on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. in Room 207. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9:00 am. <br />
