RECEIVED
2022 18 May,, 1237 Ilius
Greenways Corridor Committee TOWN CLERK
LEXINGTON MA
Minutes
7 April 2022
4:30 to 6:05 pm via Zoom Conference
Members Present: Mal Crawford, Alex Dohan, Peggy Enders, Eileen Entin, Bob
Hausslein, Bobak Moshiri, Keith Ohmart (chair), Stephen Perkins, Mike
Tabaczynski
Members Absent: none
Other Attendees: Bob Creech (Planning Board liaison), Vinita Verma
(Transportation Advisory Committee liaison), Susan Kenyon
Votes
Meeting Minutes of March 3, 202 approved unanimously.
The Committee voted unanimously to have Keith send a letter to the Planning
Board supporting The Friends of Arlington's Great Meadows letter of March 24,
2022, expressing concerns about the Emerson Gardens Rd entrance to the AGM
and related signage.
Reports/Updates
Meeting options
The Committee agreed with Keith's recommendation to continue meeting via
Zoom through the June meeting. How we meet starting in September will depend
somewhat on the state's revisiting of open meeting requirements in July. Keith
will inquire as to whether hybrid (in person + zoom) meeting will be allowed and
supported technology-wise by the town.
Bridge School boardwalk repairs
Keith reported that the Conservation Department has agreed to purchase the
needed materials and arrange for the disposal of debris. The project can thus
proceed this season.
Center Park Pathway report
Keith met with Parker St abutters of the path that runs from Worthen Rd behind
the basketball courts, pool, tennis courts and playground to Clarke St. They
would appreciate having the path shown as a feeder path (green connector) on
the ACROSS map. This area is in flux with proposed projects for the tennis
courts and a new high school. Keith left it with the neighbors that if they got the
path designated by the town (e.g., the Recreation Dept), we would include it on
future editions of the map (not the upcoming printing).
