This Committee <br /> wishes to call your attention to our report which was <br /> considered at the Town Meeting - that this w5,000.00 was <br /> for the express purpose of purchasing a truck. <br /> "However, we feel that the circumstances justify this <br /> action by the Selectmen and therefore we cannot withhold <br /> our approval." <br /> Motion was made, seconded and voted that we approve this <br /> letter to the Bola rd of Selectmen to purchase a tractor. <br /> ' At 9:30 P.M., Mr. Edward Rowse, Chairman of the Board of <br /> Selectmen, entered this meeting to speak about a party that is to <br /> be held for Mr. Archie R. Giroux, former Chairman of the Board of <br /> Selectmen. Most members plan to attend. The cost is to be 132.50 <br /> per plate and this is to take care of a gift for Archie. <br /> Chairman Hoyt of the Appropriation Committee spoke about <br /> the linoleum to cover a wood floor in the Cary Memorial Library, <br /> explaining it to the members not contacted about it.
