Harper Blaisdell, _Chairman <br /> Richard H. Battin Robert M. Gary <br /> Frank T. Parrish,Jr. Mrs. RichardT. Souza <br /> Oscar R. Carlson Donald P. Noyes <br /> Logan Clarke, Jr. Raymond L. White, Sec. <br /> Available free cash as of November 3, 1964 is " $2i5,945.00." <br /> The Committee had a schedule meeting with the Board of Selectmen at <br /> 8:30 P. M. to go over the Twenty- Two Articles in the Town Warrent to be <br /> voted on at the Special Town eieeting to be held on the 23rd day of November . <br /> 1964 at 8:00 P. M. <br /> Article 1.- Committee Reports. <br /> 2.- Conservation Fund. This Committee recommends <br /> *3,000.00 transfer from Excess & Deficiency. <br /> 3.- Request for Authority to pruchase approximately <br /> 5 acres of land adjacent to Willards Woods. <br /> This Committee recommends favorable action. <br /> 4.- Request for transfer of land from jurisdiction:. <br /> of Selectmen to School Committee, This transfer <br /> is of financial interest tothe Town. In that <br /> by making this transfer certain state aid funds <br /> are made available for development of the grounds <br /> for playground and recreational pvRposee, <br /> 5.- Vote to authorize the Standing School Building <br /> Committee to enter into a contract for a new <br /> elementary school building. Appropriation <br /> Committee voted to indefinite postpone this <br /> article. <br /> 6.- Middleby Road School. Appropriation Committee <br /> recommends '1,1j.00.00and to be bonded for 20 years. <br /> 7.- Moreland Ave School. Appropriation Committee <br /> recommends 1,500.00 and to be bonded for 20 years. <br /> will receive 48.7% state Aid when contract is <br /> negotiated. <br /> 8.- Public Facilities on Buckman Park land. Appropration <br /> Committee make no recommendation. <br /> 9.- Final Plans for Public Facilities Building. <br /> Appropriation Committee recommends unfavorable action <br /> 10.- Request 46,500.00 for purchase of Lyonis Property <br /> Recommend 46,500.00 be transferred from E. & D. <br /> 11. Request 7,000. to reimburse sub divider for roads, <br /> drains, etc. Recommend 7,000,00 from E. & D. <br /> 12. Recruest 16,500.00 to allow installation of a water <br /> main in new Route 2 by- pass road. Appropriation <br /> Committee recommends 16,500.00 be transferred from <br /> Water Airailable Surplus. <br /> 13.- Town Barn Plans. -- Request 2,000.00 for preliminary <br /> plans. Appropriation Committee recommend 2,000.00 <br /> be transferred from Excess & Deficiency. <br /> 14.- Transfer of Land along Mass Ave to the Town in exchange <br /> for old Fire Station Site. Appropriation Committee <br /> recommends Favorable action. <br />
