4V,j <br /> OCTOBER 19, 1964 <br /> The Appropriation 'ommittee met on Monday, evening, October 19, 1964 <br /> in the office of the Town-Accountant. <br /> Present: J. Harper Blaisdell <br /> Logan Clark Jr . Oscar R. Carlson <br /> Robert N. Gary Richard H. Battin <br /> Donald P. Noyes Frank T. Parrish, Jr. <br /> Mrs. Kichard W. Souza Raymond L. White, Sec. <br /> Ralph rifield telephoned the secretary that he could not attend this <br /> meeting as he -would be out of town. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7 '50 P. M. <br /> The special Town Meeting has been changed from November 16, 1964 to <br /> November 23, 1964 at 8:00 P. M. <br /> The chairman spoke in general on Edward w. Gourdeau, a fireman who <br /> has a heart condition and the Town has spent $2,3000.00 so fair on him. Also <br /> the chaitman stated that William Fitzgerald expects an additional $,000.00 <br /> for medical expenses. Rheumatic heart Condition. Article in special Town <br /> meeting warrant for payment of medical expenses. <br /> Join Blaisdell read the letter he received from the Standing School <br /> Building ommittee, were they would like our Committee to meet with them <br /> on October 15th 1964. John Blaisdell and Frank Parrish attended this meeting, <br /> and stated that the plans for both new schools were drawn. . One school : is <br /> to have pvtiple and the other yellow brick, Both schools to use the same <br /> plans. Moreland and Middleby schools are to be of light steel construction <br /> and flat. roof. Bids have gone out and will be opened on November 10th 1964. <br /> Basic schools are exactly the same. Grading of school aroundsare to ba <br /> separated bids. Middleby school to be builtwithin 400 calendar days. Moreland <br /> Ave school to be built in 600 calendar days. <br /> The chairman stated that the association of Town Finance Committee fall <br /> meeting is to be held at Hotel 128 Dedham on Monday Evening November 9th at <br /> 5'45• P.
