483 <br /> September 28, 1964 <br /> The Appropriation Committee met on Monday evening, September 28th <br /> 1964 at 7:45 P.M. in the office on the Town Accountant. <br /> — Present: J. Harper Blaisdell, Chairman <br /> Robert M. Gary Oscar R. Carlson <br /> Mrs. Richard W. Souza Raymond L. White, Secretary <br /> Donald P. Noyes and Ralph B. Fifield telephoned the secretary that <br /> they could not be present at this meeting of September 28th 1964, as they <br /> both would be out of town. <br /> Letter from the Board of Selectmen requesting $1,000.00 from the <br /> Reserve Fund to Medical Expenses - Police and Fire. A motion was made <br /> seconded and voted to transfer $1,000.00 as requested <br /> Letter from dames J. Carroll requesting $1,400.00 from the Reserve <br /> Fund to board of Registrars - Expenses. A motion was made, seconded, and <br /> voted to transfer $1,400.00 asr requested. <br /> Letter from Board of Selectmen requesting 4101 .93 for express on <br /> voting Machines purchases under Article #11 of the Town Meeting June 8, 1964 <br /> A motion was made, seconded and voted to transfer $101.93 as requested. <br /> The remainder of the evening was spent on general discussions. <br /> suggestions etc. <br /> We are to have dividers for our books, possibly six to number. <br /> The chairman spthke in general on the Appropriation Committee report <br /> suggesting one report to a household, instead of one to each voter " in <br /> a household. <br /> Mr. Blaisdell stated that all articles for the warrant must be in the <br /> hands of the Board of Selectmen on Monday, October 5, 1964. <br /> Mr. Blaisdell said that Mr. George Morey, chairman of Trustee of <br /> Public Trust stated that they would like a transfer 45,000.00 instead of <br /> $4,000.00 from the Westview Perperual Care Fund at our annual Town Meeting. <br /> Mr. Blaisdell stated ingeneral that personal service budgets would <br /> be on pink sheets, expense budgets on green sheets and articles on white <br /> sheets. <br /> Also it was decided by the members present that the monthly <br /> appropriation balance sheets be typed on 8* X 11" sheets instead of 8* <br /> X 14 " sheets. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 10:20 P.
