Carlson <br /> Zichard Battin <br /> The chairman announced the following schedule of meetings: <br /> February 9 ( sunday) - Special meeting to block in numbers <br /> on Article 4. <br /> February 10 (Monday) - The Warrant officially closes. It <br /> is intended to Firm up all capital <br /> articles. <br /> February 15 (Saturday)-Final blocking of figures and bal- <br /> ancing report. <br /> February 24 ( Monday)- Legal meeting with Selectmen (as <br /> Prescribed by By Laws) . Invitation <br /> will be extended by letter for <br /> meeting in Town Accountants office. <br /> The chairman presented an up-to-date view of Article 4 together <br /> with an estimate of the amount to be raised in the tax levy. The tax rate <br /> for 1964 was estimated to $39. 10. With comparable assumptions the rate <br /> for 1965 was estimated to be $41.50. Despite varying opinions regarding <br /> structuring of the tax rate, the chairman' s guidelines were accepted. <br /> At approximately 9:40 P.M. the c1'airman and two members of ithe <br /> Capital expenditures Committee arrived requesting certain backgrourd <br /> _Information r elative to Article 4. The balance of the meeting was uevoted to <br /> a discussion of the general philosophy of financing capital expenditures and <br /> stabilizing the tax rate. <br /> 0. R.
