RECEIVED <br /> 2022 12 Apir, 136 prn <br /> Housing Partnership Board Charge Revision Subcommittee <br /> Meeting Minutes for March 1, 2022 TOWN CLE <br /> RK <br /> Attendees: Harriet Cohen,Jeri Foutter, Bob Pressman, Betsey Weiss <br /> Absent: LEXINGTON MA <br /> Guests: Margaret Heitz, Stephanie Hsu <br /> The meeting was chaired by Harriet Cohen and the minutes were taken by Ms. Cohen.The meeting was <br /> called to order at 6:59 p.m. and the roll was called. <br /> The attendees discussed HPB members and liaisons.The attendees agreed that the COA,the LHA, and <br /> LexHAB should be voting member of the HPB.The attendees also agreed that the Sustainability <br /> Committee, the Human Rights Committee, and the Committee on Disabilities should be added as <br /> liaisons and those committees contacted to ask for a liaison (assuming approval by the Select Board). <br /> Additional proposed changes to the charge were discussed: <br /> 1. Adding an expectation that members attend 75%of the meetings per year, pro-rated for <br /> members who are appointed on September 30.Also adding an expectation around participation <br /> beyond attending HPB meetings. <br /> 2. Add to Responsibility 7: "and other town entities" (for example, LexHAB, or, if created, the <br /> Lexington Affordable Housing Trust) <br /> 3. In addition to adding the COA, LexHAB, and the LHA as members (rather than liaisons), the <br /> attendees agreed that membership should be expanded by one. <br /> 4. Change wording of"Board of Selectmen"to "Select Board" and change references to <br /> "Selectmen"to "Members of the Select Board." <br /> The committee agreed that the next meeting will be on March 17, 2022 at 7:00 pm. <br /> Ms. Weiss moved approval of the minutes for the subcommittee meeting on Feb. 15. Ms. Foutter <br /> seconded the motion. Ms. Foutter, Mr. Pressman, and Ms. Cohen voted in favor; Ms. Weiss abstained. <br /> Ms. Weiss then moved adjournment and Ms. Foutter seconded the motion.The motion passed <br /> unanimously.The meeting was adjourned at 8:14 pm. <br /> Action Items <br /> ■ Ms. Weiss: contact Elizabeth Rust at RHSO regarding the definitions of affordable, attainable, <br /> moderate, and workforce housing. <br /> ■ Ms. Foutter: contact the chairs of the Sustainable Lexington Committee, the Commission on <br /> Disability, and the Executive Director of the Lexington Housing Authority to ask if they would be <br /> willing to provide a liaison to the Housing Partnership Board. (Note: the Select Board would <br /> need to approve a change to the charge to allow liaisons from those groups.) <br /> ■ Ms. Cohen: provide a first pass at edits to the Charge based on the discussions to date. <br />
