" 5r5 r December 17, 1963 The Appropriation Committee met Monday, December 16, 1963 at 7:45 P. M. in the office of the Town Accountant. - PresentDonald P. Noyes, Chairman John iL. Bevan J. Harper Blaisdell Logan Clarke Jr. Frank T. Parrish Jr. Raymond L' White, Secretary Mr. Oscar R. Carlson telephoned the secretary that he could not attend this meeting. Sorry. Donald P. Noyes, chairman stated that the Capital Expenditures Committee is to meet with the Board of Selectmen tonight. John Carroll, Superintendent of Public Works came in to our meet- ing to request a transfer from the Reserve and of 10,000.00 to the snow removal Wages and Expenses account. John stated he had only 1,000.00 now in the snow removal account. A motion was made, seconded and voted to trans- fer 10,000.00 from the Reserve Fund to Snow Removal, Wages and Expenses account, Robert M. Gary, chairman of the Capital Expenditures Cox,uni ttee entered our meeting at 8:30 P. M. and stated he had an appointment with the Board of Selectmen to go over Capital expenditures and suggested we attend the meeting, so immediatily we went to the Board of Selectmen meet- ing and heard what Hr. Gary had to say on capital expenditures and then returned to our meeting. The Board of Fire Commissioners requested a transfer of 260.00 - from the Reserve Fund to Ambulance account for replacement of windshield on ambulance which was broken and for gas and oil. A- motion was made, seconded and voted to transfer 260.00 from the Reserve Fund to Fire Depart- ment, Ambulance Maintenance account. Donald Noyes, chairman spoke about the dental chair which Dr. Cosgrove spoke about for the Dental Clinc. A motion was made, seconded and voted to transfer 1,000.00 from the Reserve Fund to Dental Clinc Expenses to purchase the used dental chair,. The chairman stated that the Board of Assessors cannot give us the valuation figure until after the first of the year. Meeting adjourned at 11:00 P.M. Raymond L. White, Secretary
