47 <br /> November 19, 1963 <br /> The Appropriation Committee met Monday, November 18, 1963 at 7:45 P.M. <br /> - in the office of the Town Accountant. <br /> Present: Donald P. Noyes, Chairman <br /> J. Harper Blaisdell Richard H. Battin <br /> John R. Bevan Logan Clarke Jr. <br /> Oscar R. Carslon Robert H. Kingston <br /> Frank T. Parrish Jr. Raymond L. White, Secretary <br /> Ralph B. Fifield Jr. Telephoned the secretary and said he could not <br /> attend the meeting. Sorry. <br /> IA.+aq <br /> Letter from Board of Selectmen requesting a transfer of $500.00 from <br /> the Reserve Fund to Assessor' s Personal Service account for overtime and <br /> extra help to work on getting the tax bills out. Motion made, seconded, <br /> and voted to transfer $500.00 from the Reserve Fund to Assessor' s Personal <br /> service account. <br /> Mr. Alfred Gray, executive administrator entered our meeting at 8:00 P.M. <br /> Mr. Carl Blake member of Town Meeting Association Joined our Meeting. <br /> The Collector's department asCed the Board of Selectmen to request a <br /> ' transfer from the Reserve Fund to ollector' s department personal service <br /> account of $150.00 for overtime so that the remaining tax bills can get out <br /> immediately. Motion was made, seconded and voted to transfer the sum of $150. <br /> 00 from the Reserve Fund to Collector' s Department Personal Services Account. <br /> Mr. Alfred Gray, executive administrator read a letter from the Board <br /> of Selectmen requesting a transfer of $800.00 from the Reserve Fund to <br /> Accounting Department, expense account for supplies and mechanization of <br /> the accounting system. $306.00 for control box and balance of $494.00 for <br /> supplies etc. Centralized purchasing and to encumber all accounts. A motion <br /> was made, seconded, and voted to transfer $800.00 from the Reserve Fund to <br /> the Accounting Department expense account. <br /> Board of Selectmen wrote a letter to Donald Noyes which stated that <br /> they would like the Appropriation Committee to meet with them on Monday <br /> December 2, 1963 at 8:30 P. M. for an exploratory discussion of the 1964 <br /> budgets. <br /> Meeting Adjourned at 10:10 P.M. <br /> Raymond L. White <br /> Secretary <br />
