January 28, 1963 <br /> The Appropriation Committee met Monday evening, January 28, 1963 at 7:30 P. <br /> M. in the office of the Town Accountant. <br /> Logan Clarke Jr. , Chairman <br /> J. Harper Blaisdell Vice Chairman Richard H. Battin <br /> Maurice F. Shaughnessy John R. Bevan <br /> C. Roland Christensen Frank F. Douglas <br /> Raymond L. White, Secretary Robert H. Kingston <br /> The chairman, Logan Clarke Jr. went over the data he had in reference to <br /> Article 2, New Secondary School Buildings which he proposed to say at the <br /> town meeting. The members approved what he proposed to say. We then went <br /> as a body over to Cary Memorial Hall to the Special Town Meeting. <br /> Article 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8 went through as recommended by the Appropriation <br /> Committee. <br /> Article 2, New Secondary School Buildings which this committee recommended <br /> $3,200,000.00. Our chairman spoke and did a very good job at it. After <br /> he spoke Mr. i icCrossen spoke at length against this article. Finally it <br /> went to a vote and all Town Meeting Members except two, voted in favor <br /> and the two members against. <br /> The Town meeting adjourned at 9:25 P.
