9 <br /> .129• <br /> August 7, 1961 <br /> • <br /> The Appropriation Committee met on August 7, 1961 at 8:00 P. M. in the <br /> office of the Town Accountant. <br /> Present: J. Harper Blaisdell, Chairman <br /> Edward A. Palmer,Sec. Alfred Viano <br /> Logan Clark Jr. John Bevan <br /> Frank E. Douglas Maurice Shaughnessy <br /> Letters requesting transfer of funds from E. & D. were read. It was <br /> voted to transfer: <br /> .- $f .85 to the Town Clerk's Parking Meter Fund <br /> Q= S168.20 to the Town Clerk's Election Account <br /> At 8:10 A. Fisher, Donald Clark, Steven Russion and Robert Kent came <br /> in. <br /> Mr. Blai_sdell discussed the circumstance of the request of the <br /> School Committee for the transfer of funds. <br /> A letter from Sanborn Brown was read: re school population study <br /> of Rosemary Fitzgerald, urging of plans and specs for Secondary <br /> School. <br /> Also Mr. Brown's letter was read requesting 86,000 for the study <br /> and analysis of plans also to issue ,a brochure. A letter from <br /> Mr. Fisher about the same was read. <br /> Mr. Blaisdell feels that $6,000 is adequate for present purposes, <br /> at least until the next special Town Meeting. <br /> Mr. Fisher discussed at length on competition for ideas on constructinn <br /> and programming. <br /> It was Toted to transfer S6,000 from the Reserve Fund to Standing <br /> Building School Committee. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Edward A.
