The Appropriation Committee met in the Town Accountants Office at <br /> 8:00 P. M. on September 14, 1959. <br /> Present were: <br /> J. Harper Blaisdell, Chairman <br /> Howard Patterson, Robert Meyer <br /> Alfred Viano Donald Colony <br /> Edward A. Palmer <br /> Agenda: <br /> Item #1 - met new members <br /> Item #2 - Considered request of Mr. Carroll 's $500 for <br /> expenses and $50 for Foreclosure Account. <br /> Voted: to transfer A50 to Foreclosure <br /> " It $500 to Expenses <br /> Item #3 - Vice-Chairman Maurice F. Shaughnessy was elected <br /> Item #Lt - General discussion on programming for future <br /> business. i.e. Cooperation with Capital Expenditures <br /> Committee on future action re: town problems. <br /> Obtaining: policies on salaries and wages etc. <br /> from Selectmen, School Board, Planning Board. <br /> Edward A. Palmer was elected Secretary <br /> The Committee will ask for an informal meeting <br /> with the Seledtmen and Capital Expenditure Committee <br /> on October 5, 1959. <br /> The Department heads will received a follow-up <br /> letter after receipt of the budget, requesting an <br /> early completion of budgets and setting up a meeting <br /> for discussion. <br /> The Secretary will write to several other Towns <br /> for salary schedules. <br /> The Meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.
