24 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the Accountants ' <br /> Office at 8:00 P. M. May 8, 1958; <br /> Present were: Norman Richards <br /> Paul Buckley Howard Patterson <br /> Donald- Colony Maurice Shaughnessy <br /> Edward A. Palmer J. Harper Blaisdell <br /> Article #7 of Special Town Meeting Warrant was reopened for <br /> discussion and it was voted to recommend favorable action <br /> and was voted that 112,000 be appropriated and raised in the <br /> current tax levy. <br /> At 8:55 Mr. Fisher of the Standing Building Committee came in <br /> to give figures on the New Junior high School. <br /> At 9:40 Mr. Fisher left. Mr. Richards brought up the fact that <br /> he was not now the Chairman. It was moved and voted that <br /> Mr. Richards remain as Chairman until after adjournment of <br /> the Special Town Meeting. <br /> Favorable action was recommended for the New J,inior High School <br /> and the appropriation of $2,080,000, with $2,050,000 to be <br /> bonded for not more than twenty years and $30,000 be raised in <br /> current tax levy. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 10:10 and will meet prior to Town <br /> Meeting May 12, 1958. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Secretary <br />
