Vit; <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> Committee Room of Cary Memorial Hall on May 5, 1958 at <br /> 8:00 P. M. <br /> Present were: Norman Richards <br /> Munroe Hamilton Paul Buckley <br /> Donald Colony Edward Palmer <br /> and new members: <br /> Howard Patterson Maurice Shaughnessy <br /> The Warrant for the May 12th Town Meeting was discussed. <br /> Mr. Grindle and Mr. Snow explained reasons for proposed <br /> land purchases. <br /> Voted: Article #1 - No recommendation <br /> Article #2 - Favorable action $30,000 from Water <br /> available surplus <br /> Article #3 - Favorable action $28,900 from E & D <br /> Article #4 - Unfavorable action <br /> Article #5 - Unfavorable action <br /> Article #6 - Unfavorable action <br /> Article #7 - To be discussed May 8th when figures — <br /> shall be available. <br /> Article #8 - No recommendation <br /> Article #9 - No recommendation, Committee has insufficient <br /> information as to both <br /> cost to Town and probable <br /> receipts. <br /> Article #10 - No recommendation <br /> Article #11 - No Recommendation <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 10:45 and will meet again on May <br /> 8th at Cary Lemorial Hall. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Secretary <br />
