243 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> Committee Room of Cary Memorial Hall on March 10, 1958 <br /> at 8:00 P. M. <br /> CJ Present were: William Madden Chairman <br /> A. Edward Rowse Munroe Hamilton <br /> Edgar C . Bailey Donald Colony <br /> Edward A. Palmer <br /> Norman Richards Kenneth Blodgett <br /> Paul Buckley Wilfred L. Dwyer <br /> At 8:00 the School Budget was discussed and it ' s effect on <br /> the tax rate. With the Junior High renovations it is estimated <br /> that the School increase will give a $7.00 increase in the <br /> tax rate for 1958. <br /> The Committee adjourned at 9:00 to attend statuatory meeting <br /> with Selectmen, Chairman of the School Committee, Chairman <br /> of the Assessors, Chairman of the Cemetery Commissioners. <br /> The articles in the warrant were reviewed and figures were <br /> received on the new fire engine, ambulance, estimate of cost <br /> of Group Insurance, and alterations on the Barnes property. <br /> The Committee then adjourned to the Accountant ' s office to <br /> discuss revisions and corrections in Town Report. It was <br /> voted not to reconsider F. B. I Academy recommendation. <br /> The next meeting will be March 13th. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Secretary <br />
