249 <br /> A.meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> Committee Room of Cary Memorial Hall on March 3, 1958 <br /> at 8:00 P. M. <br /> Present were : William Madden Chairman <br /> Norman J. Richards A. Edward Rowse <br /> Kenneth F. Blodgett Wilfred L. Dwyer <br /> Donald Colony Edward A. Palmer <br /> At 8:00 there was a general discussion about a letter from <br /> the Standing Building Committee. <br /> at 9:45 the School and Building Committees came . The School <br /> Committee labored mightily and have reduced the Personal <br /> Service budget by X1,000. It was voted to contact the <br /> Selectmen re : Postage requirements for 1958 in light of <br /> the proposed new Postage Meter. <br /> The renovation of the Junior High School was discussed re : <br /> pupils costs, space etc . Estimated cost X570,000. including <br /> funds allotted. <br /> The problem of the Superintendents Department was discussed <br /> fully. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 11:25.
