173 <br /> A Meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held on January 16, <br /> 1956 at 7:4.5 P. M. , in the Committee Room of Cary Memorial Hall . <br /> Present were : <br /> Donald Clark, Chairman <br /> William Madden Wilfred Dwyer <br /> Paul Buckley Kenneth Blodgett <br /> Edward A. Palmer, Secy. <br /> Chief of Police Rycroft came in at 8:00 P. M. , and explained his <br /> needs for the coming year. He left at 8:40 P . M. <br /> At 9:05 P. M. , the Fire Committee was in, headed by Mr. Fitzgerald, <br /> discussed their Budget and left at 10:15 P. M. <br /> The following Budgets were approved:- <br /> Assessors ' Expenses Ambulance Maintenance <br /> Contributory Retirement 10-A Fire Pensions <br /> & 10-B Capital Expenditures <br /> Animal Inspector were charged to Expenses <br /> Dog Clinic and new article in Warrant <br /> Planning Board Expenses Forest Fires Personal Services <br /> Registration Expenses Forest Fires Wages & Expenses <br /> Police Expense Building Expenses amended <br /> Parking Meter Maintenance Plumbing Personal Services <br /> Police Pensions Interest on Debt <br /> Dog Officer Maturing Debt. <br /> Fire Dept . Expenses <br /> The next Meeting will have Capital Expenditures Committee, Recreation <br /> Committee, Library Committee . <br /> The Secretary was asked to obtain a map for use of Committee . <br /> The Meeting adjourned at 11 :10 P.
