A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held June 13, <br /> 1955 at 7:30 in the Committee Room at the Cary Memorial <br /> Building. <br /> Present were: <br /> Donald Clark, Chairman <br /> Kenneth Blodgett John Works <br /> Norman Richards Edgar Bailey <br /> Edward Palmer, Sec. <br /> The Planning Board came in at 7:45. Mr. Adams and Mr. Snow <br /> explained the setup and need of the parking space. <br /> At 8:25 Chief Rycroft was in to explain the Police Department's <br /> need for a new cruiser. <br /> 8:50: Mr. Burns explained the layout of the proposed Worthen <br /> Road and the proposed changes on School St. <br /> 9:05: Haskell Reed explained need for new road and changes on <br /> School St. <br /> After Mr. Reed left it was voted: <br /> 1. To recommend purchase of new Police cruiser. <br /> 4'2,000 from E. & D. <br /> 2. To recommend approval of improvements on School St. <br /> 413,000 from E. & 3. <br /> 10:20 Adjourned to meet June 15, 1955 with Selectmen and <br /> Planning Board to further discuss Worthen. Road and Parking Lot. <br /> Respectfully submitted <br /> Secretary <br /> The following was omitted from the first draft of the <br /> minutes. The June 15 meeting will take place at 7:30 in <br /> the Selectmen' s Office. <br />
