164 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held June 1, <br /> 1955 in the Conference Room, Cary Memorial Building, with <br /> the following members present: <br /> John Biggs, Chairman Pro-Tem <br /> William Madden W.L. Dwyer <br /> Kenneth Blodgett John D. Works <br /> Edgar Bailey Edward Palmer, Sec. <br /> Norman Richards <br /> Donald T. Clark was elected Chairman for the coming term. <br /> John M: Biggs was elected Vice Chairman. <br /> The duties and responsibilities of the Committee were <br /> discussed for the benefit of the new members. <br /> Transfers from the Reserve were voted as follows : <br /> Town Clerk Election Exp. 145.00 <br /> Selectmen 't It 328.03 <br /> The transfer of $136.15 for the Patriot 's Dar F'xnenses <br /> was dbferred until a formal request has been received from- <br /> the Selectmen. <br /> The Town Meeting Warrant for the June Town Meeting was <br /> discussed and it was decided to withhold any recommendations — <br /> until further information is obtained. <br /> The Chairman will be requested to have the Chairmen of <br /> various boards meet with the Committee at the next meeting <br /> which will be (tentatively) June 13, 1955 and furnish <br /> figures on which we may base our recommendations. <br /> Meeting adjourned 9:15. <br /> Respectfully submitted <br /> APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE <br /> Secretary <br />
