Walker, <br /> Secretary of the Appropriation Committee: <br /> Gardner C. Ferguson - Chairman <br /> Austin W. Fisher, Jr. <br /> James V. MacDonald <br /> Robert R. Cave <br /> Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr. <br /> ,-, Leslie C. Read <br /> -0 All were in favor of transferring the amount of 1183.90 from <br /> " the Reserve Fund to the Health Dept. same covering the salary <br /> of the new Sanitarian from September 2, 1954 to September 15, <br /> 1954, thereby enabling Mr. Jackson to acquaint him with the <br /> town and orient him to the Board of Health problems. <br /> Respectfully submitted:tte�d: <br /> Secretary. <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held on September <br /> 13, 1954 in the Conference Room, Cary Memorial Building, with the <br /> following members present: <br /> Gardner C. Ferguson - Chairman <br /> John M. Biggs Austin W. Fisher Jr. <br /> Robert R. Cave William C. Madden <br /> Donald T. Clark Leslie C. Read <br /> Frank D. Walker, Sec. <br /> John MacNeil came into our meeting at 7:40 to discuss his report <br /> to the Committee: <br /> Discussed 90% vs. 80% clause <br /> Mutual vs. Stock Co's. <br /> Obtain some better method of handling insurance so <br /> that those who are receiving premiums will have some <br /> work to do. Left at 9:10. <br /> Voted: To refer MacNeil report to Mr. Cave for further consideration <br /> and study and advise Mr. MacNeil to contact Mr. Cave when he has <br /> obtained some facts and figures relative to experience of other <br /> towns using Mutual Companies. <br /> Discussion then followed with reference to Group Insurance. <br /> Voted: To accept the report and place on file. <br /> Voted: Copy of report be sent to Selectmen with letter as follows : <br />
