A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the Con- <br /> ference Room in Cary Memorial :Building at 7:30 P . M. on Jahuary 18, <br /> 1954 with the following members in attendance: <br /> Raymond W. James, Chairman <br /> Leslie C . Read Gardner C. Ferguson <br /> William Madden Austin W. Fisher, Jr. , <br /> Donald T . Clark John M. Biggs <br /> Robert R. Cave <br /> Frank D. Walker, Secretary <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P . 17. <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on January 11,1954 were accepted. <br /> It was voted to accept the insurance report prepared by Bob <br /> Cave with gratitude and forward a copy to the Board of Selectmen for <br /> their consideration and that we suggest the recommendations be adopted <br /> and further that the summary of the report become a part of our ann- <br /> ual report. <br /> School Committee came at 8:07 discussing their budget. <br /> Mrs . Morey gave the Committee a detailed breakdown estimate of the <br /> new School St. , School. <br /> General Contract $533, 345.00 <br /> Site development 77, 655.00 <br /> Architect fees 49,000.00 <br /> Equipment 55,000.00 <br /> Contingencies 10,000.00 <br /> $725,000.00 <br /> School Committee left at 9 :45 P. M. <br /> Recreation Co: .mittee carob in at 9:50 to discuss their budget. <br /> Haven' t made their minds up relative to baseball field. Left at 10 :30. <br /> Planning Board came in and Don Hathaway started the discussion. <br /> Alan came later and gave auite a discussion. Left at 11 :30 P. M. <br /> All the Interviews were recorded. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 11:20 P .
