James, Chairman <br /> Gardner C. Ferguson Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr. <br /> Leslie C. Read Donald T. Clark <br /> William Madden Austin W. Fisher <br /> Frank D. Walker, Secretary <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on Monday evening, September <br /> 14, 1953 were adopted. <br /> Ratified previous action by transferring $242.65 from the <br /> Reserve Fund to Town Clerk & Treasurer' s -- Focpense Account. <br /> Mr. Burns, Supt . of Public Works, came in at 8:00 P. M. to <br /> discuss his articles .- <br /> Article <br /> rticles .Article 4 will be indefinitely postponed unless the monies <br /> are received from the Town -of Bedford previous to Oct. 5, 1953. <br /> Article 5 - divided into two sections : <br /> Section I Additional appropriation necessary to finish <br /> sewers in sundry streets voted at Town Meeting - ( Scnool Street) <br /> and the extra cost of removing ledge in M arrett Road. <br /> Cost of School St. ( Est. ) $28,000.00 <br /> Additional cost of ledge 7,000.00 <br /> Total, Section I `435,000.00 <br /> Section II This is -for an appropriation of $25,000.00 <br /> for sewer up Massachusetts Avenue from the /unction of Lincoln <br /> Street to Woodbury Road, a distance of approximately 800 feet. <br /> The purpose of this extension is to require the installation of <br /> sewers in the -proposed Robinson Hill development. <br /> Article 6 - This is for an appropriation of A7,00O.00 which <br /> is anticipated will be needed to complete the Sewer Services not <br /> now completed plus an expected 40 - 50 plus 56( 2) services from <br /> the main to the edge of the road. <br />
