Bateman, Chairman <br /> Raymond W. James Ralph H. Tucker <br /> Leslie C . Read James V. Macdonald <br /> Gardner C. Ferguson <br /> Frank D. Walker, Secretary <br /> The minutes of the meeting held December 15, 1952 were presented <br /> and approved. <br /> The following requests for transfers from the Reserve Fund were <br /> voted: <br /> Fire - Expenses 400.00 <br /> Interest 18.55 <br /> Elections-Town Clerk 110.00 <br /> Water Const. 16" & over 6,100.00( when letter <br /> is received from Selectmen with information regarding <br /> action on borrowing of 40,000. Water Construction 16" <br /> & over. ) <br /> The Board of Public Welfare came in at 7: .5 to discuss their <br /> budget requests for 1953. Left at 8 :30. <br /> The Board of Health came in at 8 :30 to discuss their budget re- <br /> quests for 1953. Left at 9 :30. <br /> Chief Rycroft of the Police Department came in at 9 :30 to dis- <br /> cuss his 1953 budget requests. Left at 10 o' clock. <br /> It was requested that a letter be written to Harold E. Stevens, <br /> Town Counsel, to receive his views, under the provisions of Sect'on <br /> 16, Chapter 39 of the General Laws, also the Town By-Laws, in rela- <br /> tion to presentingthe budgets to Town Meeting. <br /> The next meeting will be held January 5, 1953 with the follow- <br /> ing agenda: <br /> Miss Thompson 7: .5 <br /> Recreation Committee 8:15 <br /> Assessors 8:45 <br /> Fire Commissioners 9 :15 <br /> Public Works 9 :4.5 <br /> The meeting adjourned at 10 :35 P.
